KernelSU module guide
Your very first android root module
tl;dr modules provide a safe way to alter system files without actually modifying them (through overlayfs). that includes plain text files, android binaries - especially powerful in you understand how android as an operating system works. Altering that process means, you shutdown the functions that you don’t like, or extend what you like, adding more convenience into your life. A way to take back control over the device you bought and own.
After Magisk’s original author joining google (google gladly offer jobs to such talented enthusiasts to silence them), KernelSU came into picture, providing a safe root access environment, but through kernel (I don’t know the technicals). The first thing I install after root are LSPosed, and whatever modules that are famous during the year… which used to include font modules, windows 11 emoji, play strong integrity keyboxes - or if you’re on a stock oxygen os - stuffs like “Lucky Tool”…
So, if you ever want to build useful modules to take control on your device again, check this https://kernelsu.org/guide/module.html
